Who has tips for applying makeup? please tell.?

I'm 13 and finally allowed to wear makeup. My Problem? I always mess up whenever putting it on. Help pleaseWho has tips for applying makeup? please tell.?
eyeshadow:

1) use a primer

2) start of little by little so you dont mess up.

3) dont do too much

4) always tap off access; sometimes thats why it makes the color fall out alot; bc thats acess.

5) use an eyeshadow brush :)

foundation:

1) can use a primer; is recomended by many :)

2) use the right skin tone!

3) tap off access

4) start off little by little and build up as you need it :D

5) do in circles! and buff it in :)

6) you can use a foundation brush; fingurs (not really recomended; but if you want to wash hands well bc then bacteria from your fingurs gets into your skin); flat top brushes; and duo fiber stippling brushes :D

blush:

1) smile and put on the apples of your cheeks :) this one is super easy!

eyeliner:

top lid

1) use small strokes thin ones two. (for all types of eyeliner)

2) if you mess up alot; try pencil liner first.

3) if you use liquid liner; you should have q-tips present at all times bc you can mess up :)

4) you can use a brush for cream liner

bottom lids

1) not smart to use liquid liner in the water line.

2) cream liner lasts longer and goes on smothely. (drugstore favorite : lorel HIP cream liner)

3) dont put too much ;)

4) use a brush for cream liners. fine tip eyeliner brush!

mascara:

1) use a primer if you want. it always does good tho

2) look down for good curling results.

3) start from the base and wiggle it put to the tips.

4) start off with one coat and apply more if you need it; but if you want it to look natural; one coat is good enough :)

well i guess this is it :)

Lipgloss is simple just get a couple different colors you like.

Eyeshadow- If you get a shimmery shadow like one from simplynaturals.net, it is impossible to mess up. You just lightly rub onto your eyelids and blend a little and it looks great! Then I would just apply some mascara and leave it at that.

(The gleaming gold is really pretty on and it is not as dark on your eyes as it looks in the picture)

it really helps if u heat ur eyelash curler to keep the curl

how to get brighter, wider eyes

Apply one thin coat of mascara to both upper and lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, allow first coat to dry completely then apply a second coat concentrating on the base of the lash.

Tip: For a real eye-opener, use an eyelash curler before applying mascara. Curl gently at the base of the lashes, but never beyond the center of the lashes. Don't clamp down on one spot for too long or you'll get a sharp angle.

Tip: Don't pump the applicator wand in the mascara tube. Doing so will trap air inside and cause the mascara to dry out. Instead, twist the wand to collect more mascara on the brush.

.If your mascara is new and the deposit on the wand is plentiful, tissue off the wand before applying to prevent smudging.

To get more product on the mascara brush try twirling the brush. Pumping it will cause the product to dry out sooner.

Try experimenting with different colors of mascara 鈥?maybe brown, navy or green.

Always use less mascara on your lower lashes.

If your mascara thickens when it reaches the end of tube, place the tube in warm water. This will help to make mascara thinner. Never add water to the tube; bacteria can form.

To create a gorgeous nighttime look, use light, medium and dark eyeshadow shades in graduated tones. Apply the dark shade along your lash line, the medium shade on the crease, and a light shade up to the eyebrow bone but not beyond. Soften and blend any hard edges so one color seems to melt into the next.

2. To open up your eyes so that they appear livelier, place a dot of a light shadow in the inner corner of each eye.

3. For a sexy, smoky effect, trace the upper and lower lashes with a dark shadow then smudge with a blending brush. To optimize the look, this can also be done over eyeliner.

hope i helped!
As a 13 year old you definately want to stay neutral. That is my opinion. I would go with primarily brown shades and pinks are good too and pink and brown even look good together. The nice think about being 13 is you can play it up with a little more shimmer in your shadows. I don't know what your money situation is but if you wear foundation absolutely make sure you are getting a shade that really does match your skin color and just get something with light coverage you shouldn't have to many flaws yet such as uneven coloration etc. For your lips I would stick to gloss, either clear or in the pink family. If you want an airbrushed look ask for the MAC 187 brush for your birthday or something :o) It's a great brush for applying foundation whether it be liquid or powder its really no fuss. You really don't want to look like you are wearing tons of makeup. My everday neutral look I wear MAC's Naked lunch for the lid, Era for the crease and Espresso for the outter 'V' and I put Vanilla on the brow bone.

I tell people this alot but go to a MAC store. The girls that work their are very knowledgable and if you go there with your mom or something tell them you want a look that is appropriate for a 13 year old they can show you how to apply. You don't necessarily have to buy all of your makeup there because you absolutely can find cheaper alternatives. But they can really help you out and maybe that can be something nice for you and your mom to do together. I started wearing makeup when I was about 12 or 13 and I was pretty much the only one of my friends that did wear makeup and now I am 27...times have changed!

I would stick to a medium to dark brown liner if liner is something you would want to wear. I was never much of a fan until I got older like 27 :o) ... At your age you just really want to stay neutral. Those of us who are a little older and see kids your age who wear a ridiculous amount of makeup we look at them like they are retarded so take it from me just keep your makeup light and pretty.

Remember to keep it natural.

Cleanse, tone, moisturize, foundation, concealer..

That's how I do it.

If your face is oily, then apply a matte finishing veil.

Physicians Formula makes a great one. :)

Good luck! :)

you should use cottonbads for eyeliner, but wet it a little, if y ou want to take it off, do the same thing except add soap to it. NEVER put lips stick, eyeshadow, and eyeliner together because thats to much. hope i helped:)
Try the basics.

Don't go crazy on eyeshadow.. Use nude/neutral colors (browns, light pinks, off whites)

I used makeup at 13 also. I basically just did that with some mascara %26amp; lipgloss =]
Stick with a mascara and a little gloss for now. You have lots of time to add to your makeup routine.
yeah u gotta scribble eyeliner all over the top of your eyes it sounds weird looks great andddddddd put eyeshadow on your neck it makes it stand out more ;)
