I only wear concealer, mascara, eyeliner, and chapstick.
The concealer I use is called Boing! by Benefit. They sell it at Sephora. It is an ';industrial strength'; concealer, and stays on all day! It is about $20 for one, though my last one lasted me an entire year! I highly recommend it!
Also, to help your eyeshadow stay on, check out a Neutrogena product called Skin Soothing Eye Tints. They come in really pretty, neutral pearly shades, and feel really cool when you put it on :) I used to wear it alone without eyeshadow. But if you choose to also wear eyeshadow over top of it, it helps the shadow stay on. You can buy this anywhere, Target, Walgreens, Walmart..etc. and is around $7.00.
Hope this helps! :)
Primer. Primer. Primer. I cannot stress that enough!
For foundation to last try using a face primer. Brands like Laura Mercier, Smashbox, and Fresh have great foundation primers. You are probably on a budget, so I suggest Revlon Beyond Natural foundation primer. Remember to set your foundation and concealer with a translucent powder afterward. But, I actually think that you shouldn't use foundation, if you want sheer, but natural coverage opt for a tinted moisturizer. Stila have great ones, or try Physician's Formula.
For eyeshadow to last you need a primer/base. Urban Decay Primer Potion, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. For a drugstore brand, try Loreal De-crease. An eyelid primer keeps eyeshadows from creasing, keeps eyeshadow on longer, keeps the eyeshadow brighter, and creates a smooth base for the shadow.
Hope this helps!
it is primer that makes your make-up last and also after you use your liquid foundation you ';set'; your make-up by using a translucent powder. i need to buy a primer which im gonna do tomorrow and then put on my liquid foundation set it with powder and then do my eye make-up lol. btw with liquid foundation you just dot your face and then blend it with a brush.
iv found that if you use a liquid foundation and then use a powder on top, it stays on. if you put foundation and powder on your eye lids aswell, the eye shadow seems to stay on a while longer too.
