Bobbi Brown, the makeup artist, has a few books out that are really good. Try Bobbi Brown Beauty by Bobbi Brown. I also really like the book The 5-Minute Face by Carmindy (the makeup artist from What Not to Wear). You can go into any bookstore and go to the health section and there usually is a beauty section with lots of books on makeup and stuff.

Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin is known to be the best one, he's a famous make up artist and it's just a great book for learning.


Another good one is Allure: Confessions of a Beauty Editor by Linda Wells.


Both MUST HAVES!!


You can get them in any bookstore pretty much.

Bobbi Brown has lots of good makeup books. She wrote one for teens, but you might have to special order it, I don't see it in bookstores anymore.





Laura Mercier released a book too.





Kevyn Aucoin put out a few: Making Faces, Face Forward.





These are all excellent books.
