I am going into 8th grade, and need advice on applying Makeup. Help?

The title says it all. How much makeup is TOO MUCH for an Eighth Grader? Also, techniques on how to apply it... Thanks!I am going into 8th grade, and need advice on applying Makeup. Help?
hey, well im going into 10th grade but i remember how it was when i was in 8th grade. I know its long but i promise it WILL help.

I would say you can do as much makeup as you like but do it so it looks natural. Like, if one day you wake up and your skin looks great then its not necessary to wear like foundation or anything so don't just do it for the sake of it...if however you need to use it go for a pressed powder or a tinted moisturiser rather than a foundation which isnt great for young skin and is really unnecessary. You can just apply the tinted moisturiser using a brush, and literally buff it into your face so its almost invisible-make it look as natural as possible.

For your eyeshadow, go for whatever colour suits you, i always think eyeshadow is the most flexible, you can wear whatever colour you want just try and make sure its not too dramatic. For a more natural look go for real light colours-golds/bronzes look really great and dont do a hugely thick layer. To make sure it stays throughout the whole school day use a concealer or if you have one a primer on your eyelid before applying the eyshadow so it has a base to stick to.

As for blusher/bronzer i would suggest IF ANY, use blusher not bronzer cause it looks more natural. If you are going to use it, dont do it in like a long line going across your cheek its too obvious. Use a brush and blend it into your cheek-you could start with a line if its easier and then use a brush to blend it out so it looks real natural.

As for eyeliner i wouldnt suggest doing top and bottom line with black and if you do then do a REALLY thin line..for a more natural look use brown or use black just on the lower waterline, and then use a mascara on the top eyelashes.

TIP:try and use a clear mascara so that if for any reason it runs, it wont form a huge black bag under your eyes-AND it will look more natural.

For the lips, go for a nice neutral colour, and if you use lipstick be sure to go over the top of it with something like vaseline for a nice glossy look. Keep a mirror and a few important makeup items with you at school so you can always top up if you need to.

Oh and remember to use cream before you apply any makeup!

good luck hope i helped and remember, its all about creating your own style-use what i said as a base and add or take away from it.

I`m a freshman now, and I started wearing makeup to school in 7th grade. Here is my normal routine:

Liquid foundation, occasional bronzer or blush, and mascara. Wearing colorful eye makeup in 8th grade is very risky, even the natural tones. I think you should just stick with mascara at the most for eyes. Here are some of the natural looking products that I used:

MAC Browning Powder

Clinique Superbalances Makeup

Covergirl Exact Eyelights
well when i was in 8th grade the onlything i wore was eye shadow eye line and mascara but make sure u r careful.

1.the first thing u should apply is the black eyeline make sure its pencil not liquid u pull the skin on the bottom of ur eye and apply it lightly to the bottom of ur eye socket.

2 apply w.e color of eyeshadow u would like on ur eyelid make sur eits not too much u don't want to look slutty

3last but not least apply macra to ur eylashes make sure u don't POKE URSELF IN THE EYE i would stick to the top lashes only cause the bottom gets mascara when u blink ur eyes
Im going into 8th grade too! :) draw a thin line of eyeliner on your waterline only going half way. Same on top. Add a gold/brown/tan eyeshadow, use some mascara, blush if you want and clear lipgloss. Its cute. Or just use mascara and clear lipgloss, thats cute too.
8th graders shouldnt be wearing makeup...
