Applying makeup for the first time....?

I am going to be a junior in high school; hence im old enough to wear makeup.... Anywhom, I have never put on make up; I'm just too lazy to put it on and take it off. The reason for my question is occasionally I want to wear eyeliner (need help with that); in addition I am sort of a night owl and like to stay up late and I am taking a zero-period and an honors class so I really need tips on appying makeup to cover-up my bags.

everything helps!!!Applying makeup for the first time....?
Have you thought about going to a store and asking for advice? Lots of store beauty counters will offer free lessons and makeovers, and it will help give you an idea what works for you.

At your age you probably won't need much more than concealer, for around the eyes and breakouts, and a few colour cosmetics like lip gloss and liner.

It's better to spend a little more on products that really work and suit you than buying a load of cheap stuff, finding you hate it and never using it again.Applying makeup for the first time....?
great tips and articles on makeup and skin care on this site
Well.. you could use liquid base then powder base on top of that.. but wat i do is...put 2 spoons in the freezer that nite. and in the morning when you wake up for school or where ever. put the spoons underneath your eyes! i do it and it works pretty good
Theres a product that can help to remove eyebags and try to sleep earlier? You can go to classes and learn how to do make up.
put on moisturizer or better yet, eyebag reducing creams on your eyebags when you go to sleep.

take about 15minutes per day to do this -

soak pads of cotton wool in milk, place over eyes, put an ice cube on top of the cotton pad. wait for the ice cubes to melt.

super cold, lol, please also put a towel at your neck area so the water doesn't wet anything else.

for makeup, apply moisturizer 10mins prior to applying makeup.

dab on concealer (don't smudge).

use a concealer brush to blend if required.

apply foundation.

open eyes with mascara.

=DD
you need and oil based concealer...go one sahde lighter than your skin tone...neutrogena has a great one in a tube...look for that at like heb or wal mart or something.
