I have the same problem, but have found the perfect solution. I use Clinique Sheer Matteness T-zone shine control cream under my make up daily. Not only does it stop my face from getting oily/sweaty but my foundation actually stays on much longer. I also carry with me Clinique Stay-Matte Oil-Blotting sheets. If I go dancing or do something that I know I am going to sweat more then usual these really help. I just take the sheet and blot my face. It gets rid of the oily look w/out removing my makeup. Keep in mind that sweat does remove makeup, but these sheets won't take off anymore. The best part is that you can get both products from your Clinique counter for less then $20, plus they last forever. What can i put on before applying my makeup to help prevent getting a sweaty face?
milk of magnesium all over the face before anything
try make-up that doesnt clog your pores and wash your face everyday. also try ( if you can find ) non-prespirent makeup
any liquid oil mattifier
applying baby powder over your make up works really good!!.. it also makes your face look as soft as a babies bottom lol
you can use primer. smashbox and laura mercier make some good ones.

also, oil free foundation for medium to heavy coverage would work well paired up with blotting paper throughout the day.

if you dont need foundation, you can use a sheer powder with blotting paper throughout the day also.

if you dont have blotting paper, you can use the toilet seat covers in the bathroom. works so good!! and starbucks napkins too!
Purchase a bar of Dial soap from your local store, and apply to a wash clothe every day while showering. Scrub your face (but not too hard). After you get out of the shower, your face will feel slightly dry because the soap is an excellent cleaning agent and removes the oil, while the wash clothe removes the dead skin cells.

Then, take a powder based foundation (I use Loreal True Match in nuetral) and brush lightly over face. You can then apply a creame foundation (I use Age Rewind by Maybelline because its easy on the skin and contains an SPF) over top of that! That will keep the foundation from washing away when you sweat a bit.

Keep in mind too that you have to train your skin not to be oily! A good way to do this is to have a fan on you while you sleep. A fan minimizes sweating, which causes bacteria build up in your pores.

Good luck! =D
