How do you wash brushes used for applying mineral makeup?

My face has begun to breakout and I think I need to wash them. What's the best thing to use to not damage the bristles? How do you wash brushes used for applying mineral makeup?
I鈥檝e used everything from my face wash to hand soap to shampoo; some of my brushes are more than two years old and going strong. When I鈥檓 done, I reshape them and lay them out to dry. Just a word of caution, the thicker brushes can take more than a day to dry.How do you wash brushes used for applying mineral makeup?
i use a purifiying shampoo and warm water
Well i don't know about ';mineral'; make up but for my own i use an alcohol based cleaner for my foundation brush. Its Estee Lauder and cost around 鈧?6 a bottle. I find it better than shampoos or anything like that because the alcohol kills the germs that grow on the brush as opposed to just rinsing make up off it!!

Hope this helps chicks

Bare Escentuals make a brush cleaning solution. Or you can use a gentle soap.
I use my facial cleanser to clean my brushes and this has worked best for me, it gets them the most clean. I've tried the shampoo but for me it doesn't get all of the makeup off the brush. I'll clean the brush in the morning and let it air dry the rest of the day after gently drying with a towel. FYI the facial cleansers I've used are Clean %26amp; Clear Foam and Clinique Facial Cleanser.
I use shampoo to cleanse my brushes. Blot dry with a towel an let air dry. This maintains the shape of the bristles.
Warm water and shampoo, rinse them good though if you dont you could chance the brush irritating your face. Lay your brush to dry completely on a paper towel. Dont try to dry it with a blow dryer or towel. Just let it sit until its completely dry. Dont wanna lose your bristles! hope this helps!
I use oil free make up remover. Since make up is what is already on the brushes, this works the best. Since your breaking out the oil free liquid will help. shampoos will NOT help, since they already have oil in them.
