Is it okay to wear vasaline or baby oil on your skin before applying makeup?

if the vaseline or oil gets into any powder products (from an applicator), it will likely ruin them. Also, it will clog pores. Try a moisturizer instead. Is it okay to wear vasaline or baby oil on your skin before applying makeup?
It;s ok to do it ;but it will just slide off as it's greasy and won;t stay on your face with make-up... it;s good to clean makeup off your face with it .....Baby lotion is good for your body after showers though,.,.,Is it okay to wear vasaline or baby oil on your skin before applying makeup?
If you mean on your face, they will clog your pores and give you acne. You might need to add more detail because maybe I am just misreading the question.
I dont think that's a good idea. I'm pretty sure it will clog your pours and your skin will breakout. You should apply a good moisturizer to a clean face and then makeup. You could also try primers
not recommended if you wan the makeup to stay on - though a little on the applicator might make the eye makeup go on more smoothly.
yes well thats what the experts have advised on the internet
Yikes sister, what are you thinking? That poor skin needs to breath. I understand your wanting to moisturize but not with those type of products. Break out city! If your issue is foundation not going smoothly try a foundation prep product that goes on over moisturizer but before makeup. Try Sephora's Perfection Makeup Base.
I wouldn't. But if it works for you, fine. But wash it off before applying makeup. The only thing I wear under makeup is moisturizer.
