Where do you place your mirror when applying makeup?

Where is the best place for your mirror, window behind you or window in front of you.Im looking for the best way to apply makeup in natural light.Or is there a bulb i can buy that will give me natural sunlight.Where do you place your mirror when applying makeup?
have it to where the window is in front of you.

natural light is way better because it helps you see the true colors of everything you're putting on your face.

i remember i used to put on my makeup with a lamp in front of me and i never realized that i didn't blend in my foundation really good cuz the light was too dark and i couldn't really see it. haha.Where do you place your mirror when applying makeup?
You should hopefully use natural light as your lighting, so the window must be against the window area so that the light from a window will hit your face.

I don't use natural light, seeing as there is never any sunlight when I apply makeup (that is when I was still in high school, and now I am not going out so I have no need for makeup).
I have a mirror that has different light setting, one of them for ';day'; is a great soft white light that I use most of the time.
by a window because if you do it in unnatural light when you go outside you will be a different shade to what you thought you were
window in front so its still bright but at least you odnt have the sun in your eyes
by a window cause then you know what youre doing and theres plenty of light!
yeesh.. i put on my makeup in the bathroom mirror. :\
window in front of you

thats how i do it

lol lights me up good!
