Think of it like this, when painting a wall that is brightly colored, you use primer to first town down the color that is on the wall before painting it a lighter color.

you usually look ';caked on';


it promotes more acne or blemishes





sometimes it is used with uneven tones, lots of freckles, or skin


blemishes.... just to cover them up, but in the long run, it creates alot more breakouts.





It's a plastic, Hollywood look that is popular and that is why it is done...


Mostly, in common practice, the face looks fresher without it.
I actually use one by Bare Minerals and it is awesome, It stays on my faces and my face doesnt lose the glow throughout the day.
